Happy Again

I had been sad, and feeling blue,
it’d been like that for a while.
Then once I found you,
you gave me a reason to smile.
From the touch of your hand,
to the sweet smile on your face.
I didn’t have to ask you to understand,
you just left a mark on my heart that I can’t erase.
I know this is how love should feel,
It came when I least expected it to.
Deep in my heart I know what we have is real,
And the person I have to thank is you.
When I think of you, it makes me happy,
I hope these feelings never go away,
And I know how sometimes we act really sappy,
And I hope that’s the way it’ll always stay,
